Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Housing and Wellbeing Officer to work under the Housing and Wellbeing Manager. The role focuses on supporting customers to gain independence within a customer‑centred environment, aligned with the Independence and Wellbeing framework.

You will assist customers to identify strengths, access services, and maintain occupancy responsibilities while promoting safeguarding and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications/memberships (Institute of Customer Service qualification) or willing to study towards.
• Qualified to minimum level 2 in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify strengths, development needs and risks to build independence.
• Help customers access other agencies and services within the community.
• Coach customers to maintain occupancy agreements and responsibilities.
• Encourage feedback, document and respond to complaints and compliments.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly in line with guidelines.
• Manage tenancy tasks including voids, repairs, allocations, lettings, rents and adaptations.
• Carry out Health and Safety duties as directed and follow Great Places procedures.
