Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Housing & Wellbeing Advisor to support older people across 3 Later Life Living services in Farnworth and Horwich. You will help customers live independently, build strong relationships with families and partners, and coordinate services to enhance wellbeing within a welcoming community.

The role combines tenancy management with wellbeing support, including reviews, compliance, and liaison with care providers to ensure a safe, high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, retirement living, supported living, or health and social care settings.
• Experience coordinating customer support with external agencies or care providers.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers, families, local partners and support agencies.
• Coordinate support services and promote customer engagement to reduce social isolation.
• Manage tenancy sustainment tasks including lettings, rent and service charge administration, void management and property inspections.
• Oversee health and safety compliance and work with contractors and care providers to maintain a safe environment.
• Promote the service locally and represent Places for People with external stakeholders.
