Job summary

Transform Housing & Support Sutton & Epsom is hiring a Housing & Support Officer to empower vulnerable clients to build independence. No prior experience needed—full training provided.

You will work with a supportive team to help clients meet personalised plans, access community services, and manage housing duties including rent collection, risk assessments, tenancy management, and health and safety checks.

Salary £18,162 per annum (£28,000 FTE). Location: Wallington. Hours: 24 hrs per week.

Qualifications

• Non-judgmental professional relationships with clients
• GCSE/level 4+ in Maths and English or equivalent
• Ability to communicate with clients, peers and other agencies
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to manage own time, deliver outcomes and meet deadlines
• Understanding of safeguarding issues and commitment to protect adults and children
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet)

Responsibilities

• Support clients to resolve problems and reach positive outcomes
• Help clients meet personalised support plans and access local community services
• Carry out housing management duties: rent collection, risk assessments, tenancy management
• Report maintenance issues and conduct health and safety checks
• Work as part of a supportive team
