Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd are partnering with a well-established Derby charity to recruit a Housing Support Worker who will deliver person-centred housing support to adults in supported accommodation and the local community.

You will manage a caseload of around 20–25 residents, help them move into suitable homes, signpost to services, and build positive relationships with partnerships. The role involves on-site and community work, with a rota including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported housing, homelessness or related care roles.
• Comfortable with adults with complex needs and managing a caseload.
• Full driving licence likely required and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 residents.
• Provide day-to-day, person-centred housing and support.
• Help residents bid for properties and move into suitable accommodation.
• Support residents to develop independence and positive outcomes.
• Signpost to mental health, substance misuse and other services.
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents and agencies.
• Work with other services as required.
• Cover a rota including days, evenings, Lates and weekends.
