Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Housing Support Worker to provide practical, person-centred housing and support across multiple Bradford services. You will assist residents with complex needs, including those recently leaving prison, and travel between sites to maintain tenancies and progress toward independence.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a paid break, and an immediate start. You will manage safeguarding, welfare checks, risk assessments, and liaison with external

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting vulnerable adults.
• Experience with individuals with complex needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
• Awareness of safeguarding and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, person-centred housing and support to residents.
• Support residents with welfare benefits and tenancy matters.
• Carry out welfare checks, risk assessments and support plans.
• Travel between Bradford-based services to support residents.
• Maintain accurate records and professional boundaries.
