Job summary

Waythrough in Bradford is seeking a Support Coordinator to help individuals access secure housing and maintain tenancies. You will work with service users, colleagues, and partner organisations to provide holistic support, manage risk, and promote independence.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people, including support planning and risk management.
• Experience of, and ability to, manage a caseload of service users, supporting them to achieve greater independence.
• Knowledge of housing options available and relevant legislation.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits system and relevant legislation.
• Experience of multi-agency working with a wide range of external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic support and enhanced housing management to service users accessing the NSNO service in Bradford.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure comprehensive care.
• Empower individuals to overcome barriers, achieve independence, and maintain permanent tenancies.
• Assist clients at risk of losing their tenancies to prevent homelessness and promote stability.
