Your role:

As a Housing Repairs Planner, you’ll coordinate responsive repairs for tenanted homes, ensuring a “right-first-time” approach. You’ll work closely with property inspectors, contractors, and internal teams, reviewing inspections, work orders, and performance data. The role involves being the first point of contact for tenants, resolving queries, and maintaining compliance with legislation and service standards. You won’t manage staff directly but will support colleagues and ensure service continuity during absences.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have experience in social housing repairs or a similar field, with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills. You’ll be confident using IT systems, managing priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and delivering excellent customer care. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and contractors are essential. A proactive approach to improving processes and embracing digital solutions is key.
