Job summary

Hastings Borough Council is seeking a Housing Officer for Temporary Accommodation in Hastings. The role focuses on supporting households placed in temporary accommodation, managing placements and liaising with providers to ensure safety and suitability.

You will work closely with colleagues and clients to support housing options while longer-term solutions are explored, in an office-based setting at Muriel Matters House.

We are offering an opportunity to join the Housing Services as a Housing Officer Temporary Accommodation.

The Role

This role is key to supporting households placed in temporary accommodation and ensuring placements are well managed. You'll provide housing management services, liaise with providers, and work closely with colleagues, partners, and clients to ensure people are supported while their longer-term housing options are explored.
