Job summary

Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht) is seeking a proactive Housing Officer to join its Communities Team in Bromsgrove. You’ll deliver a customer-focused housing management service, supporting a diverse range of customers and helping create safe, sustainable communities.

In this role you’ll manage tenancy and estate matters, address anti-social behaviour, work with partners to support customers and achieve positive outcomes. A driving licence and Enhanced DBS are required for the position.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to negotiate, influence and solve problems.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and provide day-to-day housing management support.
• Resolve tenancy and neighbourhood issues and take appropriate enforcement action when needed.
• Work with colleagues and external partners to support customers and outcomes.
• Contribute to community projects and events and use feedback to improve services.
