TristoneNash is working with a social housing provider to recruit a Housing Officer on a 6-month contract in Worthing, UK. The role focuses on delivering a high-quality, customer-focused management service across a designated patch, including stock and garage sites.

You will handle anti-social behaviour cases, support tenancy endings, conduct new tenant visits, and coordinate transfers while keeping teams informed to re-let properties quickly. A driving licence and Basic DBS check are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or social housing settings.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and practice.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Basic DBS check or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Manage a designated housing patch with a customer-focused approach.
• Deal with anti-social behaviour reports and refer to safeguarding services.
• Assist tenants at end of tenancy to re-let quickly.
• Conduct new tenant home visits.
• Coordinate transfers, exchanges and allocations.
• Carry out regular neighbourhood inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Liaise with the Responsive Repairs team for accessibility aids.
