Job summary

Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht) is seeking a proactive Housing Officer to join its Communities Team. You’ll deliver a customer-focused housing management service, supporting a diverse range of customers while helping to create safe, sustainable neighbourhoods.

You’ll manage tenancy and estate matters, handle anti-social behaviour, work with partners, and engage with residents to continually improve the service. A driving licence and Enhanced DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Experience in social housing or community work is relevant.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Full, valid driving licence and access to an insured car.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and provide day-to-day housing management support.
• Manage tenancy and estate matters and address anti-social behaviour.
• Work with colleagues and partners to support customers and achieve positive outcomes.
• Contribute to community projects and initiatives and use feedback to improve services.
