Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a Housing Manager to oversee day-to-day housing management within an Extra Care scheme in the UK. The role focuses on safety, maintenance, tenant relations and delivering a high standard of living for residents.

You will manage repairs, scheduling with contractors, and ensure compliance with regulations while supporting residents’ independence and dignity. The package includes flexible working and a nine-day fortnight.

Qualifications

• Proven housing management experience.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations.
• Experience managing and scheduling property maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent organisational skills including tenancy management.
• Level 4 Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme.
• Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
• Oversee upkeep and maintenance of all properties, manage repairs and contractor relationships.
• welcome new residents and encourage engagement with activities and events.
• Provide high-quality customer service and address residents' housing concerns as a priority.
