Join Our Team as a Housing Support Worker
Location: Yeovil, Somerset – Rainbow Court
Role available: Full-time, 35 hours per week - Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)
Rainbow Court provides supported housing for adults experiencing mental health challenges who need support to maintain their tenancy and build independence. We offer accommodation in eight self-contained one-bedroom flats and one adjacent house, alongside person-centred, recovery-focused support tailored to each resident’s needs.
We work with residents to develop independent living skills, improve wellbeing, sustain their accommodation, access community resources, and achieve their personal recovery goals. Our aim is to empower people to build confidence, increase resilience, and successfully move on to more independent living when they are ready.
You’ll join a supportive team helping adults with mental health needs or housing challenges to build independence and successfully maintain their accommodation. Working closely with the Service Manager and your colleagues, you’ll provide person‑centred, housing‑related support and connect individuals with the right external services to help them move forward confidently toward independent living.
There may be times where you will need to support service users who are in distress or deal with difficult situations. Training and support will be provided.
