Job summary

The Blue Triangle Limited is seeking a Housing First Young Person Worker to join our West Dunbartonshire team. You will deliver flexible, intensive support to 16-25-year-olds to help them sustain tenancies and integrate into the community.

Working 35 hours per week on a rota, you’ll be committed to trauma-informed, person-centred care, work in the community, and engage with SHARP monitoring to demonstrate positive outcomes while developing skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Care experience with vulnerable people and challenging behaviour.
• Follows SSSC code of practice and National Care Standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and support independence.
• Flexible, lone worker with ICT skills.
• SVQ level 3 or higher desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide intervention and supports for new referrals and existing young people in their own tenancies.
• Provide trauma-informed, person-centred, and wellbeing-focused support.
• Support, review, monitor and evaluate using SHARP monitoring tool.
• Assist transitions from supported accommodation to local community and tenancy skills.
