Home Group Limited in Shotton Colliery is seeking a Housing Concierge to support vulnerable customers, keep buildings safe, and foster a welcoming community. The role involves night shifts, lone working, CCTV monitoring, and prompt incident response, with training and team meetings as needed.

You’ll work 4 night shifts from 21:15–07:45, followed by 4 nights off, with weekends and bank holidays included. Salary £26,300 per year plus benefits such as Health Cash Plan and pension.

Typical shift

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas


• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning


• The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network aren’t around to help!


• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly


• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour

Job details

• Permanent, full time (37.5hpw)


• You’ll work 4 night shifts from 21:15-07:45, followed by 4 nights off. This rota includes weekends and bank holidays.


• Although you’ll work nights / lone work, we do get together regularly [in the daytime] for training and team meetings


• Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues


• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
