Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Housing Assistant to join our compassionate, community-focused team in Birmingham. You will oversee day-to-day operations of the supported housing service, assist with tenancy tasks, and help ensure safeguarding compliance across our schemes.

You will build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders, manage records and resources, and support the delivery of a high-quality tenancy service while embracing our inclusive values and flexible working

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering tenancy services.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE Grade C in English and Maths.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant area.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Experience using housing management systems is desirable.
  • Full valid driving licence and access to own vehicle required as travel is essential to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tenancy and void management to maintain occupancy levels.
  • Support and promote compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Housing Assistant

Your role
