Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Basildon, Essex, is looking for a Housing Support Assistant at Phoenix House to help manage daily housing operations and tenancy services. The role involves safeguarding, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining occupancy across schemes.

You’ll need GCSE English/Maths (C or higher), NVQ Level 2, and a valid driving licence, with the ability to travel between sites. The package includes generous leave and a pension, plus training and flexible working options.

Qualifications

  • Oversee day-to-day running of the supported housing service.
  • Assist with tenancy and void management to maintain occupancy.
  • Support safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships with customers and stakeholders.

  • Experience delivering tenancy services.
  • Basic digital skills and data interpretation.
  • Full valid driving licence and travel between schemes.

  • Experience delivering tenancy services
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE Grade C in English and Maths
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant area
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data
  • Experience using housing management systems is desirable
  • Full valid driving licence and ability to travel between schemes

Your role
