A regional health organization in Llantrisant is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper. In this role, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness and support the Facilities team in delivering essential services according to NHS standards. Ideal candidates will have previous cleaning experience and knowledge of COSHH guidelines. The position provides an opportunity for career growth in a team-oriented environment dedicated to patient care.

To support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering housekeeping and linen room services to the National Standards for Cleanliness in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and organisational standards.
To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, supporting the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. Maintaining a high standard of environmental cleanliness
Carrying out housekeeping, cleaning and service associated semi-skilled duties, e.g. curtain changes, removal and cleaning of fixtures and fittings, linen.
Maintaining a safe working environment.
Provide a Patient/Customer service
The post holder is required to attend all relevant staff meetings and training sessions as required by the Housekeeping Manager/supervisors to maintain personal competency and comply with Health Board or legislative requirements.
Work in accordance with housekeeping policy and procedures, occupational health and health and safety procedures.
