Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across residents' living areas and communal spaces. The role focuses on compassionate, person-centred support and creating a welcoming, tidy environment for residents.

Applicants should be reliable, caring and able to work to a strong standard of hygiene. DBS checks and compliance with health & safety are expected as part of employment at Quantum Care.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or willingness to learn the necessary skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control.
• Positive, caring and respectful attitude towards residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Provide full housekeeping duties: sanitising rooms, bathrooms and communal areas; changing and making beds.
• Support laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Work with residents to create a homely atmosphere and support wellbeing.

Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident's wellbeing.,

• You'll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
  You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
