Qualifications

• Experience leading a designated unit in a residential care setting.
• Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is essential.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Substantial experience with older people and delivering outstanding care.
• Overseas Police Check may be required in addition to Enhanced DBS.

Job description

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift.
• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.
• An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
