Job summary

Quantum Care in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a Housekeeper for our Hotel Styled Boutique care home. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and greeted by a welcoming, tidy environment.

This is a full‑time, permanent role (30–35 hours per week) with pay £12.71 per hour on weekdays and £13.21 per hour on weekends, plus benefits and ongoing training in a supportive, values‑driven workplace.

Qualifications

• You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
