Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join Willow Court in Harpenden. The role covers 28 hours per week with shifts 9am–2pm and 2pm–5pm, including alternate weekends, at a rate of £13.08 per hour on weekdays and £13.58 per hour on weekends.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the home, support residents’ comfort and wellbeing, and follow health and safety policies to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Contract: Part Time - Perm

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our welcoming Care Home Willow Court in Harpenden. Willow court is an 81 bed residential care home Located in a quiet residential area of Harpenden, it offers beautiful landscaped gardens, a welcoming café, hair and beauty salon, and excellent amenities for residents and staff alike.

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident's wellbeing.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies

• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
