Job summary

Fintelligent Search is seeking a Household Claims Handler in Bolton to own a varied domestic property claims caseload from notification to settlement. You will assess coverage, liability and evidence, negotiate settlements, and interact with suppliers within approved limits in a regulated environment.

The role offers the option to increase contracted hours with salary adjusted accordingly and includes CII study support, a contributory pension, bonus opportunities, enhanced holiday allowance, and

Qualifications

• At least 12 months’ household or property claims experience.
• Experience handling claims within a regulated insurance environment.
• Holds, or is willing to work towards, relevant CII qualifications.

• Negotiate settlements and manage suppliers within authorised limits.

If you have household claims experience and want to build your technical expertise, this Household Claims Handler role offers ownership of a varied domestic property claims caseload from first notification through to settlement.

You’ll manage your own files while developing your knowledge across policy assessment, liability, supplier management, negotiation and claims resolution within a stable, regulated environment. There is also the option to increase your contracted hours.

• Salary £25,000–£28,000 per annum based on a 35-hour week.
