TIME Appointments Ltd is seeking an experienced Property Claims Handler to manage a varied caseload from initial notification through investigation and settlement. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering top-level customer service.

You will review policy coverage, investigate claims, gather evidence and negotiate settlements with customers, insurers and third parties, while maintaining compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance claims handling is essential.
• Property claims experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of insurance products, policy coverage and claims processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Customer-focused, professional and proactive in your approach.
• Confident managing multiple claims and competing priorities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage property claims end-to-end, from first notification through to settlement.
• Review policy coverage and assess claims, liability and property damage.
• Investigate claims and gather, review and evaluate relevant evidence.
• Negotiate settlements with customers, insurers, loss adjusters and other stakeholders.
• Liaise effectively with brokers, underwriters, customers and third parties.
• Handle enquiries, complaints and correspondence promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Manage a varied caseload, prioritising effectively while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
