Job summary

Hilton Gatwick - Arora Group is seeking a switchboard operator to start the guest experience from the first contact. You will operate the switchboard, answer and forward incoming calls, and ensure messages reach the right team.

This role is based at Hilton Gatwick and offers a family-friendly 8am–8pm shift pattern on a 4on/4off rotation. You should be passionate about customer service, be calm, efficient and well organised, with excellent English and strong communication.

Qualifications

• A passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
• Calm, efficient and organised.
• Excellent communication skills and high standard of English.
• Listens and responds proactively to our guests' needs.
• Experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate switchboard, answering and forwarding incoming calls.
• Transfer calls to the appropriate person or department.
• Take down and pass on messages where necessary.
