Job summary

Lighthouse Hotel Management is seeking an experienced member to join the Maintenance Team at Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport Hotel. The role supports guest experience by keeping facilities and equipment in excellent condition, performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience, hospitality preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance spaces.
• Report major issues to management and elevate when required.
• Support the Maintenance Manager as needed.
