Job summary

Lighthouse Hotel Management is recruiting a Sales Executive for the Courtyard by Marriott - Luton Airport to drive group sales and secure corporate bookings. You will engage with corporate clients, event organisers, and travel partners to position the hotel as the preferred option in the Luton area.

You will build relationships, coordinate with events and catering teams, and negotiate contracts, contributing to growth and customer satisfaction within a leading hotel brand.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in catering/hospitality, with a focus on group sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Organised and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new group business opportunities, including conferences, events, and corporate bookings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts to ensure repeat business.
• Coordinate group requirements with events and catering teams to deliver seamless service.
• Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales agreements effectively.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
• Attend networking events and trade shows to represent the hotel and expand the client base.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and provide regular reports to management.
