Job summary

Lighthouse Hotel Management is seeking a Finance Assistant for the Courtyard by Marriott – Luton Airport, joining a team that supports the Cluster Financial Controller and hotel management. The role involves overseeing income audits, supplier invoices and reconciliations, with travel to Cambridge West Hotel as required.

Ideal candidates will show keen interest in finance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft packages, Excel is essential.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration with suppliers, teams and managers.
• Interest in finance is important.

Responsibilities

• Income audit, daily banking, credit cards and revenue reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices and run supplier payments.
• Handle petty cash reclaims and AR receipts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for select control accounts.
• Assist across departments and support internal and external audits.
