Job summary

Chessington World of Adventures Resort in Surrey is hiring Hotel Front Office Hosts for the 2027 season. This fixed-term contract runs until 1 July 2027 with shifts 7:00–15:00 or 14:30–22:00, depending on business needs, at Leatherhead Road, Chessington, Surrey KT9 2NE.

You will welcome guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, coordinate reservations, and support housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding guest experience at Britain’s biggest wildlife theme

Responsibilities

• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
• Ensure luggage is stored correctly and securely
• Maintain the highest service standards by completing daily and weekly checklists in full
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Leisure, and Food & Beverage teams regarding room allocations and reservations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly
• Provide information about the hotel and resort to guests
• Maintain and improve the guest experience
• Process payments per hotel procedures
• Assist guests with Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs)
• Handle reservations, amendments, cancellations and enquiries
• Manage incoming calls professionally
• Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, power/system failures)
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information
• Demonstrate multitasking and prioritisation to meet deadlines
