Job summary

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is seeking a Bar & Restaurant Duty Manager to lead our hotel team in delivering outstanding food and beverage experiences for guests. This hands-on role covers front-of-house and bar operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner, guiding a large team with a focus on safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within a busy bar and restaurant environment.
• Strong people skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Confidence in decision-making and leading services independently.
• Solid understanding of food safety and allergy management.
• Passion for hospitality, food and drink.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support with recruitment and training of staff.
• Manage labour stock control and sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, health and safety, and cleanliness.
• Handle guest feedback, concerns and complaints professionally.
