Job summary

Manor Hotel Meriden is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our two-site operation at Manor Hotel and Windmill Village Hotel. You will be the first point of contact for guests, check them in, manage enquiries and help deliver outstanding hospitality.

The role requires excellent communication, smart appearance, and a proactive, team-driven approach to guest care across both sites; experience in a hotel environment is preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

Experience of working within a hotel operation or similar high quality environment.
Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Smart and professional in appearance with a can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome every guest as first point of contact in a professional and responsible manner.
Check guests into the hotels computer system and allocate correct accommodation.
Check guests out at departure and handle feedback.
Assist guests with enquiries, providing outstanding hospitality and social skills.
Manage advanced reservations, deposits, confirmations and receipts; handle walk-ins and cancellations.
Coordinate between departments and management for VIP arrivals, groups and events.
