Job summary

The Manor Hotel in Meriden is seeking an Assistant Restaurant & Bars Manager to deliver outstanding hospitality and lead a dedicated team. You will ensure guest care across hotel outlets, monitor service standards and actively contribute to upselling and brand standards.

Ideal candidates will have hotel/restaurant experience, strong customer service, and a professional, proactive attitude. A collaborative approach and focus on excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or restaurant operation, ideally 4-star environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service through your team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills to manage multiple outlets.

Responsibilities

• Supply and ensure the highest level of guest care and service to our guests; internal and external.
• Oversee multiple outlets ensuring service delivery and customer care for hotel and external guests.
• Monitor that food and beverage items are prepared and served to company standards and regulatory requirements; upsell where possible.
• Work with the Restaurant & Bars Manager to oversee all restaurant and bar operations including staffing and rotas.
• Manage all restaurant and bar areas across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner services.
• Know the menu, tariffs and wine lists; understand hotel F&B service policies and procedures.
• Monitor staff performance, productivity and customer care standards.
