Job Title: Hostel Support Worker

Location: Brighton
Contract: Zero Hours
Shifts: Monday to Sunday (ad hoc shifts)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Hostel Support Worker. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents while supporting the aims and values of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure residents comply with the agreed conditions of the premises.
  • Patrol and monitor all areas regularly, ensuring safety and security procedures are followed.
  • Challenge and address behaviour that conflicts with the hostel's aims, including handling complaints appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records of events and incidents.
  • Carry out cleaning duties, including washing and drying bed linen.
  • Complete administrative tasks (manual and computerised), such as filing, photocopying, and processing invoices for manager approval.
  • Provide personal care when required.
