Qualifications

• Previous experience in reservations, front desk, or customer service within hospitality.
• Proficiency with PMS and online booking platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written English communications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric, friendly, professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of Randburg area and attractions is a plus.
• Basic sales understanding for upselling.

Responsibilities

• Process and confirm hotel reservations accurately and efficiently via phone, email, and online channels.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, room types, rates, and availability.
• Upsell rooms and services to maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience.
• Manage and update reservation systems and databases with real-time information.
• Handle cancellations, modifications, and inquiries related to existing bookings.
• Assist with pre-arrival communications and special requests from guests.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction from initial inquiry to booking confirmation.
• Collaborate with the front desk and sales teams to ensure seamless guest transitions.
• Generate reports on reservation statistics and occupancy rates as required.
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures related to reservations and revenue management.
