Retirement Villages Group is seeking a warm Hospitality Assistant to join Yarrow at Botanical Place, West Byfleet on a bank shift covering sickness and holidays. You will deliver friendly, professional service to residents and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and high standards of hospitality.

Key requirements include excellent customer service, teamwork, strong organisation, and a proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
• Up to 1 year of general work experience delivering to standard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverage, and retail services to RVG standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
• Provide residents and visitors with a warm and professional welcome, anticipating and meeting their hospitality needs.
• Handle enquiries, issues, and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
• Work effectively as part of the village team to deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships with residents.
• Contribute ideas for improving menus, services, and operational processes.
• Support the achievement of food and beverage revenue targets using established systems and processes.
• Maintain and update personal skills, accreditations, and knowledge of industry best practices.
