Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a warm and motivated Hospitality Assistant for Debden Grange Retirement Village in Saffron Walden. This bank role covers sickness and holiday, delivering food, beverage and retail services with a welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors and customers.

You will join a friendly village team, handle enquiries, and contribute ideas to improve menus and service, while maintaining standards and supporting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred but not required.
• Up to 1 year general work experience delivering to standard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverage, and retail services to RVG standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
• Provide residents and visitors with a warm and professional welcome, anticipating and meeting their hospitality needs.
• Handle enquiries, issues, and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
• Work effectively as part of the village team to deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships with residents.
• Contribute ideas for improving menus, services, and operational processes.
• Support the achievement of food and beverage revenue targets using established systems and processes.
• Maintain and update personal skills, accreditations, and knowledge of industry best practices.
