Job summary

Retirement Villages Group seeks a warm Hospitality Assistant for Debden Grange Retirement Village in Saffron Walden. This bank role covers sickness and holiday, delivering food, beverage, and retail services while upholding RVG standards and a welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors, and customers.

You will work as part of the village team, handle enquiries with care, support revenue targets, and continually develop personal skills and accreditations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• Up to 1 year of general work experience delivering to standard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverage, and retail services to RVG standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
• Provide residents and visitors with a warm and professional welcome, anticipating and meeting their hospitality needs.
• Handle enquiries, issues, and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
• Work effectively as part of the village team to deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships with residents.
• Contribute ideas for improving menus, services, and operational processes.
• Support the achievement of food and beverage revenue targets using established systems and processes.
• Maintain and update personal skills, accreditations, and knowledge of industry best practices.

We are seeking a warm, friendly, and motivated Hospitality Assistant to join us here at Debden Grange Retirement Village, Saffron Walden. This is a Bank role covering sickness and holiday. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring our residents, visitors, and customers have memorable experiences.
