Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a warm Hospitality Assistant at Elmbridge Retirement Village, Cranleigh. This Bank role covers sickness and holiday, delivering food, beverage and customer service to residents, visitors and customers.

You will welcome guests, handle enquiries, support teams and contribute ideas to improve menus, services and processes. A friendly, can-do attitude and ability to work in a busy village setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Up to 1 year of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverage and retail services to RVG standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
• Provide residents and visitors with a warm and professional welcome, anticipating and meeting their hospitality needs.
• Handle enquiries, issues, and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
• Work effectively as part of the village team to deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships with residents.
• Contribute ideas for improving menus, services, and operational processes.
• Support the achievement of food and beverage revenue targets using established systems and processes.
• Maintain and update personal skills, accreditations, and knowledge of industry best practices.
