Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager for the Velindre Cancer Centre in Wales. You will lead facilities, maintenance and engineering services to ensure a safe, compliant and patient-centred estate, balancing operational delivery with team leadership and stakeholder engagement.

You will oversee PPM and lifecycle activities, ensure statutory compliance and manage in-house teams and specialists. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in facilities/estates/maintenance management.
• Experience managing maintenance delivery, statutory compliance and sub-contractor performance.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of facilities and maintenance services to keep estate safe, compliant and operational.
• Oversee planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance and lifecycle activity.
• Manage statutory compliance across electrical systems, HVAC, water hygiene, fire safety and building safety.
• Lead, motivate and develop your team, including performance management and wellbeing.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and supply chain partners, monitor quality and compliance.
