Job summary

Kier Group at Velindre Cancer Centre in Wales is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of facilities, maintenance and engineering services on site. You will ensure the hospital environment remains safe, compliant and operational, guiding in-house teams and specialist subcontractors to deliver high standards for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Significant experience in facilities/estates/maintenance management.
Experience delivering facilities services in complex environments.
Strong knowledge of building services and estate operations.
IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification with risk assessment experience.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of facilities and maintenance services, keeping estate safe and compliant.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance and lifecycle activity across systems.
Ensure statutory compliance for electrical, fire, water hygiene and building safety with audit records.
Lead, develop and manage in-house teams and subcontractors.
Coordinate sub-contractors and supply chain partners, monitor performance and standards.
