Velindre Cancer Centre is seeking a Technical Manager (electrical biased) to lead the operational delivery and performance of technical services at the new Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff. Before service commencement in March 2027, you will support mobilisation, commissioning activities and the selection of the maintenance team and subcontractors, shaping service strategies.

You will oversee electrical delivery, commissioning, and maintenance, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure safety

Formación

• Accreditation/membership of a relevant professional body (CIBSE, IET or IHEEM)
• Minimum HND or equivalent qualification in an electrical or building services engineering discipline

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical technical delivery to ensure contractual compliance and provide technical advice
• Participate in commissioning activities during construction and mobilisation, reviewing documentation
• Manage delivery and performance of maintenance works, coordinating access, isolations and permits
• Select, appoint and manage the maintenance team and subcontractors, ensuring calibre and performance
• Monitor service performance and building systems, ensuring health and safety compliance
