Honiton Office – Administrator – Full Time

Honiton Office – Administrator – Full Time

We are looking for a motivated and organised Administrator to join our team in Honiton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start their career in administration or someone who has a particular interest in developing a career in law.

This role is a full-time office based role which will provide you with the opportunity to work with our legal teams based in Honiton as well as working with our Senior Receptionist. Some previous experience in an office environment would be preferable.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Provide administrative support for the legal teams based in Honiton as required. This is likely to include file opening and closing and ongoing file management.
  • Undertake general office based administrative duties to include (although not limited to): postal related duties at the beginning and end of each day, scanning all incoming post for each department, banking and petty cash, purchase of office supplies and general admin related duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Assist with the storage and retrieval of Deeds ensuring they are accurately recorded onto our systems
  • When required, welcome callers to the office in a friendly and professional manner ensuring the person for whom they are visiting is notified as quickly as possible
  • When required, answering incoming calls by means of our centralised telephone system dealing with calls in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner taking accurate details and either placing the call or passing the details on as quickly as possible.
  • Deal with card payments/ID from callers to the office
