RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will work independently, visiting members at their location and delivering quick, confident solutions to get them back on the road.

The role offers a structured development pathway, IMI accreditation opportunities, and a supportive team environment with focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and offer quick, confident solutions to get members back on the road.
