Overview

In this role you will take responsibility for the well-being of our Residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You\'ll lead, motivate and mentor your team and deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home. You\'ll carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each of our Residents. You\'ll monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation. You\'ll promote our Residents independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.

Requirements

We are seeking a care home experienced Registered Nurse with current PIN on the NMC register. You\'ll also have either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one. You should have leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and experience conducting risk assessments. Above all, clear and compassionate communication with residents and colleagues is essential.

Safeguarding is everyone\'s responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You may seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
