Job summary

A care provider is seeking an experienced Home Manager to oversee a nursing and residential home in Blackburn, specializing in dementia care. Overview

Bright Selection is recruiting an experienced Home Manager to manage a purpose built nursing and residential home specialising in dementia care in the Blackburn area.

A great opportunity for experienced and caring home manager to join a values based care provider in a well performing home. Our client is seeking an experienced manager who is motivated by achieving the very highest standards of care for older people.

Qualifications
  • General management experience coupled with a passion for elderly care
  • Knowledge of CQC legislation and guidelines
  • Experience of leading, supporting and developing care teams
  • Strong planning and organisational skills that deliver high quality care outcomes
  • Budget management experience
  • Experienced in leading teams in delivering personalised dementia care
  • Creative, caring, innovative and passionate about high quality care
Responsibilities
  • Registered Manager CQC Registration
  • Reporting to Directors
  • Regular audit to ensure the home is fully compliant and operating well and that there is a consistent delivery of person-centred care to every resident
  • Leadership and management of all recruitment, supervision and professional development for all roles within the home
  • Ensure effective communication with residents, relatives, staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Budget management working to financial KPIs to achieve growth and commercial success
Contract, Remuneration and Benefits

£70,000 - £75,000pa NEG/DOE

40hrs per week

Annual leave 25 days plus bank holidays
