Home Care Assistant - Gateshead
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.71 per hour
- Shift Pattern: Two-week 4/3 rota - Week one: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun; Week two: Wed, Thurs, Fri
- Working Hours: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm
- Areas Covered: Gateshead, NE10, NE9, NE8, DH3, NE16, NE11, NE40, NE39, NE17, and NE21
- No experience necessary - paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting medication and meal preparation
- Helping with light domestic tasks and grocery needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support
What You Need
- Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support
- A reliable and honest team player with a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- No experience necessary, we have had people join from hospitality, retail, and customer service backgrounds
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
