Job summary

Hales Homecare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Southend to help clients live independently at home. Pay is £13.10/hour with mileage and travel time allowances. Shifts run 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, covering Wickford, Southend and surrounding areas.

No experience is required as full paid training is provided by our Internal Training Team, and we welcome applicants from hospitality, retail or customer service backgrounds who want to learn and grow in care.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• No Tier 2 sponsorship can be provided.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
• No experience needed; candidates from hospitality, retail or customer service are welcome.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting).
• Support medication and meal preparation.
• Help with light domestic tasks and grocery needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Home Care Assistant

Based in Southend

Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.71 per hour

Hours: 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm

Areas Covered: Wickford, Southend and surrounding areas

Requirements
