Job summary

Hales Homecare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in the Sunderland area. You will support individuals to live independently in their own homes, performing personal care, meal preparation, and companionship visits.

Training is provided, and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is advantageous. There are two-shift patterns weekly with rota-based hours, emphasizing care quality, reliability, and compassionate service.

Home Care Assistant

Based in Washington

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern: Two-week 4/3 rota - Week one: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun, Week two: Weds, Thurs, Fri

Working Hours: 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm

Areas Covered: Washington, SR1, SR2, NE9 7, NE36 0, NE37 1, NE37 2, NE37 3, NE38 7, NE38 8, NE38 9, NE38 0, DH4 7, and DH3 1

No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is ideal.
