As aCare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and comfortably within their own homes. You will be visiting clients inMacclesfield and surrounding areas such as Bollington and Prestbury. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly and caring to make a difference to our clients' lives.

Job Description

You will visit the sameregular clientseach week so you can really get to know each other and make a meaningful connection. When you have an initial call with a client who is new to you, you will have accompanied and introduced to them by a colleague who knows them well, so you canreally get to know every client and their needs.

At Home Instead, we know that 15 or 30 minute calls aren't long enough for you to offer exceptional care. That's why we haveminimum 1-hour callsto ensure you can take your time with your clients. You must have good flexibility e.g. 7am - 2pm or 4pm - 10pm, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to visit your regular clients andoffer supportaccording to their care plan and their wishes.
• Fostercompanionshipand provideemotional supportto clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing.
• Support withmaking mealsandkeeping the home clean and tidy.
• Allow clients to maintain their dignity whilst assisting them withpersonal care taskssuch as getting dressed, for those who require your assistance.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training.However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must bereliable and punctualto ensure we can continue to provide an excellent, dependable service.
• Must have acaring, friendly dispositionto create lasting relationships.
• Must have avalid driving licenceand have your own dependable transport.
• UK residency is essential, and we cannot provide working visas.
• Must have good workingflexibilityincluding alternate weekends.
• Earn£13.40-14.40 per hour (this is doubled on bank holidays) plus 35p/mile mileage reimbursement.
• Access to early pay.
• No uniform, you can stay comfortable incasual dress.
