Job summary

Artemis Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the North East, home-based across the North East region of England. You will manage and grow the territory, win new business and build long-term relationships with distributors, OEMs and system integrators.

You'll need a proven track record in technical field sales, strong account management skills, and the ability to talk confidently with engineers and commercial buyers. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in external or field sales.
• Experience selling into OEMs, panel builders, system integrators or distributors.
• Understanding of electrical components or industrial automation.
• Confident talking with engineers, technical decision-makers and buyers.
• Strong territory management and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Electrical engineering qualification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your own North East sales territory.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, system integrators and end-users.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term customers.
• Develop existing accounts and introduce additional products and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to deliver the right solutions.
• Own your sales targets, pipeline and territory performance.
• Keep CRM up to date and represent the business at meetings and events.
